National Astronomy Conference

For 32 the Varna Observatory "Nicolaus Copernicus" handles the National Annual Astronomy Conference. In 2007 will come the 33th conference.

The participants on the conference are professional as well as amateur astronomers. Every year, there are talks from astronomers from the main research centres in Bulgaria, like the Institute of Astronomy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the University of Sofia, the astronomical observatories and s.o. Exept the professionals, amateur astronomers can also present their observations and results.

Since the 31st conference (2005) the photos are published on the Internet, (on the Bulgarian version, scroll down, the navigation and the explanations are both in Bulgarian and English)

Since 1992 the Conference is also international.
