Sky theatre and planetarium

There are 80 seats in the sky theatre. The planetarium is model ZKP-1. The diameter of the dome is 10 meters. A projector that shows the Solar System and a video projector with a computer and a sound system are installed, too.

Foucault pendulum The Foucault pendulum is installed in a special tower. The height of suspension of the pendulum is 14.40 meters. This is the only one Foucault pendulum on the Balkan Peninsula.

The astronomic observatory also has computer equipment, telescopes and binoculars, which are used for teaching students and for observations of the Sun, the Moon, the planets, variable stars comets, as well as for demonstration observations for citizens.
