Visits and Courses The observatory organizes visits for citizens. The principles of astronomy are

opened on 22 May 1968 in Varna and it consisted of an observatory, a
planetarium and a tower with a Foucault pendulum. It was called “ Nicolaus
Copernicus”. Executive director of the observatory from its creation
